Tour Scrapbook
On
Sunday, we shared in the worship service of the Oasis of
Love in St. Louis. This resulted from Charles & Laurie
meeting the pastor and worship leader and their families
at a restaurant on Saturday night!
Our
home/bus school field trip this week was to the Jefferson
National Expansion Memorial (a.k.a., the Gateway Arch) where
we learned about the Louisana Purchase and about the beginning
of Lewis & Clark's corp of discovery. (We had seen the
end of their trail while in Oregon!)

a good-lookin' class!

a
good lesson
on triangles!

The
rest of the week found us racing up and back across the
highway between St. Louie and Indianapolis...and Charles
& Laurie cruising into their 15th lap of marriage! (Year
#14 was celebrated on the 9th and was much better than #13
last year in Colorado while still adjusting to tour life
together 24/7 on a seemingly always-breaking-down bus!)
(Oh, ... and I also turned 38 this week!)
We
then rolled into Indianapolis' Fall Creek Wesleyan and Indian
Creek Community churches for their MOPS groups. The
kids really enjoyed some lower horsepower as a new friend
gave them English-style horseback lessons at her riding
stables!
Then,
with not much of a pit stop for the week, we lapped back
down to St. Louis to perform for a MOPS Council meeting
on Saturday. We finally got a much-needed pit stop at a
cool water park in Ballwin and a visit to Grants Farm.
