Tour Scrapbook
After
a slow morning start, we dropped AnnNan & Dinina at
the airport then attended the evening service at Westwood
for the second "Purpose Driven Life" message.
The following day we regrouped with school and laundry at
an RV park. When we left the RV park for one last fling
at the Mall of America, the Hilliard's bus decided it didn't
want to go. Instead, it had another tag axle tire blowout
at the exit just before the mall. But the Good Sam tire
service man was very fast and we were back to shopping in
no time! Then we were off again to share with a MOPS group
north of Minneapolis in Zimmerman.
Immediately
after saying our "good-byes" to this morning group,
we headed south on I-35 and drove almost non-stop to the
Kansas City area.
We
then had a short trip to St. Peters, MO (northwest St. Louis)
for a "Mom...and Loving It!" conference. In addition
to the ladies from Grace Community Church, we were also
blessed to have friends in attendance: Jose & Denise
Jasso and their newborn son, Nathaniel, and Steve, Mendy
& Emily Stogsdill.
"MO"
friends squeezed in our bus!
The
following day our 2 buses parted ways as we headed down
I-44. The Autrys continued on down the road to Whitesboro,
while we stopped off at Carthage, Missouri to view the Precious
Moments Chapel.

These Days are Precious Moments
We
bedded down at the outlet mall in Gainesville, Texas before
heading into Whitesboro for lunch at Lovejoy's
on Main Street the next day.
Praise
the Lord for a safe, successful (by His measures!) and satisfying
Midwest tour!
