Tour Scrapbook
Sunday,
September 8
Today we got up too late to find a church to attend.
The Autrys returned to Estes Park with his family to enjoy
the beauty of Rocky Mountain National Park.
The Hilliards enjoyed the afternoon with a local family
they had met in the RV park through Alec. We tubed on their
private lake and ate a steak dinner with them and their
neighbors. Thank you Hata family for your hospitality!

Charles & Laurie celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary
today .... with the kids and a candled cinnamon roll!
Tuesday, September 10
Ministered at Calvary Bible Evangelical Free Church in Lafayette,
CO. Today was "picture day" at the Hilliards and
Autry's homeschool, or is that "bus school"?!
Charles celebrated his 37th birthday today with cards and
cake and a night out with Laurie... to repair a hurting
relationship following one of their most heated arguments
of their 13 year marriage.
Looking back now, we feel that the issue was pure selfishness
and wanting to be right. We also realize that we both need
time alone... which is very difficult to find in our 8'x40'
rolling home complete with 3 kids.
Wednesday,
September 11
Today we took a homeschool field trip to the Butterfly Pavilion
in Westminster, CO. Some of us had the privilege of holding
Rosey the tarantula! And we all enjoyed watching thousands
of exotic butterflies.
Thursday, September 12
Today at Boulder Valley Christian Church we mutually encouraged
one another like Romans 1:12 states. 2MOMS shared with their
MOPS group, and they met our physical needs in such a neat
way!
Sharon shared the need for a nurse or doctor to check on
Davis, who had been miserable for several days. One lady
in the audience referred us to her pediatrician.
At the doctor's appointment, Sharon shared what 2MOMS is
doing. After the doc treated Davis for an ear infection,
she indicated a "No Charge" on her bill! Praise
the Lord for how He uses His people to meet our needs!
Friday, September 13
Today we took both buses to Colorado Coach and Bus Works
in Denver for a complete service job.
While
the buses were being serviced, our families headed in separate
directions -- the Autrys to the mountains, and the Hilliards
to the Denver Children's Museum.
