Sunday, November 24
We worshipped at Mariners Church in Irvine, CA. Our kids especially enjoy the children's programs offered here.

In the afternoon, we drove our buses to Anaheim and checked into a hotel for some time away from the buses. Then we all loaded up on the shuttle and went to Disneyland's California Adventure!

Monday, November 25 & Tuesday, November 26
We enjoyed 2 more days at Disneyland. It is a such thrill to see the excitement and wonder on the kids' faces!

Wednesday, November 27
We moved the buses into a nearby RV park and started preparations for Thanksgiving - including reading Pilgrim's Stories and baking and decorating cookies to give to people who have to work on Thanksgiving Day.

Thursday, November 28 - Thanksgiving Day!
The day started by enjoying Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. And by early afternoon we sat down to enjoy a very different Thanksgiving meal in the buses and on our picnic table!

On this day we are thankful to God for calling us to this ministry and providing us with the buses and everything we need...especially new friends along the way!

Friday, November 29
We've also been blessed to have friends from home to visit. Today, we fellowshipped over lunch with Mike & April Loewen and their girls, who were vacationing in Southern California. Mike's mom and dad, Lloyd, were also visiting, and we were able to give them a tour of the buses. It was Lloyd who really got our wheels rolling with the bus conversion project. Thanks Lloyd for all of your inspiration and advice. Did you ever dream they'd turn out so functional and beautiful?!!!
